CHAIN have put an indelible stamp of an Australian style
on blues music that no other act has done.

Together or individaully they have toured with or opened for

Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Free, Deep Purple, Kinks,
Taj Mahal, B.B. King, John Mayall,
Kris Kristoffeson, Rita Coolidge, Leon Russell ...

...Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee,
George Thorogood, Canned Heat,
Bo Didley,Champion Jack Dupree and the list goes on.

They are still as original as ever
and are credited with establishing ‘Oz Blues’ as a bonafide stylistic variation
of its American father.

Chain is honoured at each year’s ‘Australian Blues Festival’
with the presenting of ‘Chain Awards’ to the various winning performers, albums and producers.

‘Toward the Blues’ is still on general release and probably the longest permanently available rock/blues album in Australia.

They are a great live act and the experience of seeing and hearing Chain is something anyone interested in the roots of blues in Australia should have….

In fact, it is really a ‘must’!

The PIERCE BROTHERS Comprising of twin brothers Jack and Pat Pierce,
have been shaking dance floors and selling out rooms across UK, Europe, Canada, USA and their native Australia.

Their irresistible energy and world-class live show has generated a word of mouth buzz not seen for some time.

2017 EP ‘The Records Were Ours’ came in at #9 on the ARIA chart after topping the iTunes charts across the globe.

The same year saw the brothers embark on a huge North American tour
in support of Tash Sultana.

This led to the band signing with Paradigm agency who booked their first North America/Canada headline tour in 2018

This year PIERCE BROTHERS will release their highly anticipated full-length debut album
'ATLAS SHOULDERS'.

The album was recorded over a week in Byron Bay and is set for release on October 26, 2018

TOBY BEARD is a foot stomper, a passionate, raw, cheeky and powerful performer
playing a mix of soul, blues, folk, rock
and a splash of gypsy hick.

Western Australia’s TOBY is so much more than your average singer-songwriter. She powers through each live performance with her own lyrical talent and fierce, dynamic vocals, with audiences reveling in the genuinity and honesty of both her songwriting and her performance.

Her compelling vocals and the way in which she captures her audience can’t be explained but just NEEDS TO BE HEARD AND SEEN. Her live performance truly is a treat.

A prolific and powerful artist, music has always been Toby’s driving force. Toby grew up in Western Australia and bases much of her work here, with strong ties in Canada, the USA and Europe. Over the past decade Toby has captured the hearts of audiences across the globe.

In the meantime, she has 6 albums, 2 live DVDs and several EPs under her belt. Between her touring and recording, it is a rare occasion that she will spend any given time in one place, setting her up for some great song writing inspiration. Toby finds her anchor in her family, her life on the road and the people she meets and this shows in her song writing.

SHE WAS BORN TO PERFORM.

This singer/songwriter/guitarist/multi instrumentalist has been eating up girl bands since 1994.

“Caravãna Sun let loose like a band of juiced up gypsies...most powerful when they slow things down to let the trumpet take the spotlight" - The Music .

The raucous Sun-soaked indies CARAVANA SUN have today announced their spirited new single
Come Back, set for release on August 17.
Come Back is a heartfelt ode to a lost friend; a bridge between this world and the next. Come Back precedes CARAVANA SUN'Ssparkling new EP Silver Linings,
a full body experience of a release that will encourage not only dancing and singalongs, but self-reflection as well, out September 14.

To celebrate the EP, Caravãna Sun will be hitting the road on a massive tour across Australia, which includes some coveted festival slots at the renowned Wave Rock, Under The Trees and Celebrate Gold Coast festivals. Reflecting on their year of international success and pumped for the upcoming EP tour, Ant says, “The reception to our music was truly overwhelming to say the least. Most nights we were walking out onto stages with 3000 to 5000 beautiful faces, waiting to see what a bunch of touring Australians have to sing about. To think that our songs, some inspired by time spent walking around on Bardi Country in the Kimberley, find their way onto this incredible international platform is mind blowing!
Our shows are hugely dependent on crowd connection and the unique reception gives each song life…our EP tour is going to be epic.”

Come Back will be available on August 17 and Silver Linings is set for release on September 14.

Caravana Sun is Luke Carra (guitars, vocals),
Ant Beard (bass, vocals),
Alex Dumbrell (drums, percussion),
and Ken Allars (trumpet, keys).

“A BACKSLIDERS show is like no other.."

Far from the Mississippi delta,
they took us to the water’s edge,
‘til we felt the riverbed beneath our feet” Rhythms Magazine 2015

“It is no wonder that The BACKSLIDERS are regarded as Australia’s greatest blues outfit:
they consist of four world-class exponents of their respective instruments.” Glam Adelaide 2015
“If the band was any tighter it would burst.”

“This is one tightly rehearsed outfit,
which may have something to do with the fact
that they have been working together for many years and are masters of their respective crafts.” BWW Reviews 2011.

ARIA Blues and Roots nominees
and I-Tunes Australian Blues and Roots album of the year winners,

Backsliders have been playing, touring the festival circuit and recording for over 30 years.

MINNIE MARKS wrote and recorded her 1st album
Mystery Box, in January 2010.

While being compared to John Butler by punters,
her Performances are like a pack of fruit tingles
being thrown into a bottle of coke.
An insane talent that’s out of control playing what she calls dirty sweet rock & roll

With a smile compared to sunshine and a right hand
like a machine gun,
Minnie Marks is quickly making a household name for herself in the industry
as one of the finest young guitar players in Australia.

MINNIE MARKS is not
just some Blazingly Electrified Acoustic Guitar
playing Freak of Nature,
But also a Rare and Triple Threat: Singer, Songwriter and Multi-instrumentalist.

Be warned, her show will take you on a Dizzy Rock Rollercoaster ride
with songs written over the past years of her musical journey around the world.

This is an artist that people will be talking about for many years.
Like a bombshell she explodes on stage pushing the limits of her guitar,
vocals and performance, kicking arse
and playing to packed out shows,
leaving little doubt everybody is touting her as "the Next Big Thing."
Be it a Festival audience or a Bar room packed like a can of Sardines,
she DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!

LABRASS BANDA is more than the typical North American stereotype of traditional German
sounds often heard at beer festivals around the world.
The band’s style is a wild mix of modern Bavarian folk music,
ska, punk, techno, reggae and, of course, brass.

This, however, does not detract LABRASS BANDA'S success.
In 2017, the band celebrated their ten-year anniversary not only by publishing a new album
“Around the World”, but by actually making a 6-week tour around the world,
impressing new fans on five continents.
This hasn’t been their first trip beyond Bavarian borders. The musicians gave concerts in the United States, Zimbabwe, several European countries and even in Siberia. They definitely love to mingle and party with different cultures from all over the globe, which probably helps them create their unique sound.

LABRASS BANDA'S combination of tradition and modern style cannot only be heard in their merry crossover sound, but also when looking at the band’s favourite concert outfits:
lederhosen, casual T-shirts, and no shoes.

Today, their fan base includes men and women of all age groups. As diverse as their audiences are the venues where LaBrassBanda perform. From a tour through Austria on a tractor and vintage mopeds in 2008, to beer tent concerts, huge festivals, gigs at small venues around the world, or in front of 12,000 fans in Munich’s arena called Olympiahalle.
The seven band members are more than representatives of what Bavarian culture and tradition can look like. They are ambassadors of Germany’s diverse and modern pop music scene, with danceable and fun tunes as well as awesome live shows - quite different from any dusty clichés.
Great
GERMAN BEER DRINKING MUSIC

Those familiar with Churchill’s radio smash “Window to The Sky”, which reached number 42 in Triple J’s Hottest 100 in 2014, will recognise signature elements in these new recordings: intricate guitar work, intuitive vocal melodies and a wonderful feeling of space and warmth. New single “Second Hand Car” is immediately identifiable as Churchill’s with its retro keys, propulsive guitar line and rousing chant-a-long chorus. What sets Weight_Falls apart from Churchill’s previous releases is its sense of adventure and unpredictability, characterised by chopped-up drum samples, unusual harmonies and moments of disarming lyrical honesty. Churchill credits two years spent “growing up” for much of the shift in sound. After touring Silence//Win around Australia in 2014 and 2015, he embarked on a series of high-adrenaline overseas trips that included performances at the Glastonbury and Telluride Blues Festivals and adventures in the Peruvian Andes and along the coast of Sri Lanka. As part of a review of a Billy Bragg concert for the Vancouver Weekly, critic Jason Motz said: "Opening on this night was the young, barefooted Aussie, Kim Churchill. Churchill made the most of an acoustic guitar, kick drum, pedals and a harmonica. Creating a sound I can only describe as psychedelic whale music, ocean-side blues or countrified Nick Drake, Churchill delivered an off-the-cuff set punctuated by a cover of Dylan’s "Subterranean Homesick Blues". Kim Churchill. Remember that name. He’s going to impress a whole mess of people on this tour. Next year, he could very well be headlining the Vogue."

My dad is bigger than your dad. THE BAD DAD ORCHESTRA is part soul rock juggernaut. A simple idea born of friendship, beers and fatherhood has flourished and taken shape. The basic premise: a big band, big grooves, big boots... oh and you've got to be a dad to join. THE BAD DAD ORCHESTRA comprises of 8 dads (and counting) who have played solid parts in the Tasmanian band scene for the past decade. Together they've got hundreds of kids, hundreds of riffs and a big old bag of style and swagger. The bands current sound; big grooves, snappy horn lines and catchy vocals. Critics have likened The Bad Dad Orchestra to the classic sounds of Australian Pub-Rock with a modern twist, whilst others have named it a unique brand of soul. Shine up those dancing boots. It's big, it's bad and it's dad.

Boil Up are a ten piece band based in Hobart. A melting pot of contemporary Australia, their roots stretch from the traditional owners of Tasmania, New Zealand and Fiji, to as far away as Ireland, England and Croatia; celebrating the coming together of different cultures into one family. Featuring rich harmonies blended together with traditional reggae, funk and R&B, Boil Up have created their own unique sound of reggae fusion. The musical ingredients and recipe have evolved over the years to create an energetic and entertaining human boilup that will leave you wanting a second helping.

Tasmanian based funk rock band The Surreal Estate Agents have been satisfying audiences with their energetic and playful performances since 2014.
